Régis Le-Drezen
After a telecommunication engineering degree, Régis began his career at RTE (it’s the TSO in France) in 2000. During 11 years, he worked successively as a telecommunication ingineer, where he was responsible for the system of protection of the high voltage grid. After that, he was project manager in the domain of enterprise’s telephony – the job consisted on the management of an ingineer telecommunication team which was responsible for the deployement of IP solutions in ERDF. In 2011, Régis is a Smart Grid project manager of the biggest smart grid project in France : Smart Grid Vendee. A smart grid is a modernized electrical grid that uses information and communications technology to gather and act on information, such as information about the behaviors of suppliers and consumers, in an automated fashion to improve the efficiency, reliability, economics and sustainability of the production and distribution of electricity. For a few days, Régis is the new ERDF Director in Vendée (French department).
