Jean-Daniel Guyot

Owner of a degree from the Institut National des Sciences Appliquées of Rouen, he started his career as a software engineer at 4D and then in freelance. Jean-Daniel Guyot founded Capitaine Train in 2009, with Valentin Surrel and Martin Ottenwaelter.
The concept is easy to understand: Capitaine Train allows to buy train tickets as easy as you can. The startup is establishing itself more and more as a major player of train tickets’ sale and an alternative to the leader Voyages-Sncf. And this is not insignificant if the company raised 5,5 million euros during fall 2014.

Capitaine Train has already seduced more than 250 000 customers in 5 years with its innovating interface and hires approximatively 30 people.
