David Wallace

David Wallace is a software systems test professional at Proteus Digital Health, a San Francisco Bay Area company that has created a new category of therapy: Digital Medicine. At Proteus, David leads verification and validation testing of software systems in the SQA group.

He is currently working on a project to test an ingestible sensor that communicates with a wearable.

The wearable then passes data to a mobile device which stores the patient information in the cloud.

Various portals are used to access the collected data.

David has worked in the pharmaceutical and medical devices industries testing complex computer systems for over 18 years. Examples include GxP Systems and Class I/II medical devices.

David received a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley with a focus in Micro Electro Mechanical Systems (MEMS).
