Alexandre Chartier
Even if he is a great dreamer and a kind of utopian, Alexandre Chartier has both feet on the ground. At 21, he created Monsieur Chat L’Heureux, a man underwear brand made with organic cotton. This company particularity is that each euro made is immediately reinvested on travelling.
That company with recreational purpose taken him across the globe and make unusual trips (walking through Island, Paris-Istanbul with only 20 euros in his pocket…). When he came back to France, he was hit by the social isolation and therefore decided to learn computer languages to develop MeetCook, a platform to eat with local people. The commercial success was not in the cards, but the first step in web entrepreneurship is done.
It is eventually with his Ornikar project, an alternative way to learn how to drive, that he became, with his associate Benjamin Gaignault, a French disruption symbol by dividing the driving licence cost by 2.
